We've all heard the phrase “Taylor Swift is the music industry,” and if you haven't, well, you have now. While the country-turned-pop (turned just about every genre after that) singer’s career has been full of ups and downs, and her public image has always been something of a mirrorball of varying opinions regarding her talent and rise to fame, there's no denying that her long-awaited Eras Tour might just be the event of the century.
Described by Swift as a "journey through all of [her] musical eras", the Eras Tour concert lasts for over three hours, including performances of 44 songs grouped into 10 acts, each of which portrays one of Swift's studio albums. The U.S. leg commenced on March 17, 2023, in Glendale, Arizona (Renamed as Swift City, Arizona, for March 17th and 18th, 2023, in honor of Miss Swift), and is set to end on August 9, 2023, in Inglewood, California.
But it's not just music she's bringing to the table- or the stage- this summer, but some serious fashion. Take a look at every outfit Taylor Swift has worn on her Eras Tour so far:
Lover
“Lover” was Taylor’s first album recorded and released after she cut ties with her ex-talent manager, Scooter Braun, and the first album of hers that she fully owned, hence making it a perfect opener for the Eras Tour.

Swift started the night off in a custom Versace bodysuit, bright and bold to match the dazzling colors of the iconic album cover. She paired it with an equally shiny pair of custom, studded Louboutin boots.

For her performance of “The Man,” the fourth track on the album, Swift changed into a sparkling silver Versace suit. She paired the piece with her red-bottom silver boots to highlight her signature red lip.
Fearless
When it came to Swift’s performances from her second album, “Fearless” (re-recorded in 2021 to mark Taylor’s Version) Roberto Cavalli took the stage with the singer- or at least, two of his fabulous custom designs did. On night one, we saw Taylor in a playful silver and gold dress, fringed like a fairytale.

And to make it even better, yes, Taylor did her signature twirl in the dress, showing off all of its sparkle- and hers, too.
On the second night of the tour, Taylor opted for a similar but longer fringed custom dress, also by Cavalli and embellished with Swarovski crystals.

Speak Now
“Speak Now,” Swift’s third album originally released in 2010 and still awaiting a re-record contains a total of fourteen tracks, but the singer only chose one lucky song to perform on her tour: fan-favorite “Enchanted.”

And just like her famous lyrics, her look was effortlessly youthful and romantic. On opening night, Swift donned a stunning Nicole + Felicia Couture bespoke gown, reminiscent of the Valentino gown she wore on her Speak Now tour.

On night two of the tour in Swift City, Arizona, Taylor switched up the look, opting for a Zuhair Murad Couture custom gown with a sunburst embellishment.
Red
“Red,” Taylor’s fourth album, was re-recorded in 2021 as “Red (Taylor’s Version)” and included an additional nine tracks, including the famous “All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version) (From the Vault).” And with all of those extras, why wouldn't Swift throw in another few outfits for her performances?

On night one, Swift revisited a popularly recreated look: the "Not A Lot Going On At The Moment" T-Shirt from the "22" music video. This look is paired with a Gladys Tamez fedora (so 2012, but somehow so cute).

On the second night of the tour, she poked a bit of fun at herself with a T-shirt that read "Who's Taylor Swift Anyway? Ew" taken from the song "22" instead.
Underneath the famous tee, however, we got to see something a little more modern, and a lot more glamorous. Taylor’s ombré red-to-black Ashish romper was totally on-brand for the album, especially after the re-record, which highlighted the maturity of the album and a huge turning point in her career.

And when it came time to sing her magnum opus, "All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor's Version)," a sparkly red overcoat was added to complete the look.

1989
“1989” marked the most defining point in Swift’s discography: her official switch from country to pop in 2014. And her nostalgic looks brought out for the Eras Tour were beyond our wildest dreams.
On night one, Roberto Cavalli made a return with a two-piece fringed set in a stylish magenta color, similar to a look Taylor donned on her first 1989 Tour.

On the second night of the tour, Taylor opted for the same set, except in a bright green. Her choice of colors took some fans by surprise, given that neither show up on the album's cover, but they've left thousands even more excited for the anticipated re-record.

Reputation
Throwback to 2016: Swift disappeared from the public eye for a year following her dispute with Kim Kardashian (and several family members) and Kanye West. Not only did she stop making public appearances, but she also took a break from social media altogether- and by that, we mean she quite literally vanished from the internet.
This time marked a difficult period for Swifties as Taylor and her fans spent months under attack, leading many to believe she would quit music altogether. But blondie came back better than ever in 2017 with an unexpected announcement of her sixth studio album, “Reputation.”

During the Reputation Tour, Taylor abandoned the pants and embraced the bodysuit. And for the Eras Tour, she matched that energy with an asymmetrical Roberto Cavalli catsuit. The red and black number featured sequins studded along the leg and a snake pattern around the bodice. Call it what you want, but we think it’s fair to say that this look stole the show.
Folklore
“Folklore” came as a surprise to Swift’s fans, released in late summer 2020, mere months after the COVID-19 pandemic swept the globe. Due to these unforeseen circumstances, it was the second of Taylor’s albums to go without a tour, following “Lover.” But during the Eras Tour, she more than made up for the loss with a beautiful performance of seven tracks from the album.

On opening night, we saw the singer in a beautiful purple Alberta Ferretti dress. During her performance of "august," the chiffon fabric moved along with her seamlessly as she danced across the stage.

On night two, she wore a similarly graceful Alberta Ferretti, but in pink. The gown boasted voluminous sleeves, chantilly lace detailing, and crystal embroideries, adding a beautiful texture to its movement. The designer shared both photos of Taylor in the dress and some concept sketches on their instagram.
Midnights
Taylor’s most recent release, her studio album “Midnights,” came out only months before the beginning of her Eras Tour. And the first dress she chose to perform in- a bejeweled custom by none other than Oscar De La Renta- sparkled like none other. She paired the hazy lavender get-up with a pair of custom black crystal Louboutins and a faux fur coat, also by Oscar De La Renta.

But Swift didn’t stop there. The dress was later shed to reveal an Oscar De La Renta custom bodysuit, midnight blue and dripping in jewels. What better to perform her song “Vigilante Sh*t”?

To finish off the show, another layer was added to the striking bodysuit, with somehow even more fringe than we saw from her “Fearless” looks. After all, she said it herself: a diamond’s gotta shine! The look made for a fantastic celebration of her career, and of course Taylor herself, surrounded by 70,000 fans singing along.

Evermore
Fans typically refer to “evermore” as Taylor’s ‘forgotten’ album, as she’s tended to give the collection of studio tracks less attention than some of her recents, but she wasn't quick to leave it out of the mix on tour.

During her performance of five “evermore” tracks including “champagne problems” and “tolerate it,” Taylor wore a simple but dreamy custom mustard dress from Etro. The corset-style bodice and maxi skirt were embroidered with gold detailing and brought to life by her delicate movements across the stage.
