So, Your MET Gala Invite Got Lost in the Mail. Here are Four Ways to Enjoy the Evening From Home

If you are anything like me, it appears that your MET Gala invitation got lost in the mail. No need to worry, we still know a few ways that you can experience the Gala from the comfort of your own home, and in pajamas no less.

The Classics: TV and Social Media

As everyone knows, the most known way to watch the MET Gala is through your television. This year, the MET Gala is being streamed on E! Network, Peacock (for a short duration of time), Hulu Live, YouTube TV, FuboTV, and Sling TV subscriptions after the fact.

Ringing in as a strong second is social media. Vogue will be streaming the entire event via its multiple digital platforms including TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. However, if sitting and watching the full event isn’t your schtick, no need to worry, as more and more celebs show up on the carpet both E!, Vogue, and other media outlets will be updating their social media pages with pictures and short videos of all of our favorite stars.

The Front Row

But say you still want to go all out (and we don't blame you). If you’re lucky enough to live in the Big Apple, you can watch the Gala live from 5th Avenue behind the barricades. While you may not get the best view, you will definitely have an interesting story and a chance to watch some of the glamor unfold right before your eyes.

Blast to the Past

If you're feeling too impatient to wait for the new streams from this year, take some time to look at years past. Make it a girls' night and come together and look through and talk about who wore your favorite and least favorite looks. This is a great option because it allows you to still be involved in the glamour while also watching the evolution of the event.

Let’s be honest. Everyone wants to get that golden ticket- the invite from Anna Wintour herself- however, until that day comes, you can live vicariously through these four options.
